The union of an ancient practice with cutting edge Technology.
Few things seem further apart than asana and algorithm, pranayama and PC, meditation and motherboard. But yoganect, an exciting new virtual yoga platform that is about to go live proves that when yogi meets IT-geek something truly magical can happen.
Connecting fellow yogis around the world! By providing insightful content, great services, amazing events, and a global community that is wonderfully matched to your interests, is a unique spot with lots of benefits for you, and anyone who would love to be a part of a global yoga movement. – www.yoganect.com
With a planned launch in 2018, yoganect is a first of its kind social networking platform for the millions of people who share a passion for yoga. By combining yoga and technology the yoganect team has a vision to connect yoga practitioners with yoga professionals.
“yoganect is more than a social network,” explains yoganect co-founder Elnura Esen. “We want you to experience a special bond, share the most beautiful moments of your life, inspire others to explore and experience the yoga lifestyle – and most importantly, to meet and connect with new lifelong friends.”
In addition to making new connections, yoganect will provide networking opportunities for yoga professionals, such as teachers, photographers and bloggers. The platform aims to build and promote a global yoga community, provide insightful content, and set up a convenient infrastructure for yoga businesses and professionals such as yoga teachers to host and promote their amazing yoga events.
“We at yoganect would like to make yoga knowledge and resources accessible and inspire as many people as possible to live healthier and more mindful lives,” says Elnura.
The yoganect team is working 24/7 towards the 2018 launch. So far, yoganect already has more than 300 partners and 70,000 followers on social media, before even having gone officially online. In addition to classic social networking features such as profile, upload of images and video, yoganect will offer a beautiful timeline feed populated with inspiring and interesting topics that yogis enjoy.
The events feature will benefit both attendees, who can read reviews, ask questions of the host via direct chat and book the event, as well as hosts, who can take advantage of the simple and user- friendly events page and showcase their event to a perfectly matched yoga audience. This will solve the following problem: Many teachers do not currently have a platform to host their events with the option to book where they can target a yoga audience. And some of them may not even have a website. At yoganect they can host events, promote and fill in the spots via the booking option.
And those who don’t have a website can benefit from creating a yoganect business page where they can present their yoga concept, post updates and engage with their students and event visitors. yoganect will also provide a friend finder to help yogis connect with likeminded people and provide full access to all the necessary resources for deepening your knowledge and practice.
“We at yoganect are in love with technology and yoga,” says Elnura. “We are ambassadors of using technology mindfully, to use the power of technology, on one hand to inspire as many people as possible to start practicing yoga, and on the other hand to provide yoga professionals the tools and resources as well as the high-tech platform with invaluable features to promote their yoga business and live abundant lives.”
In its essence, yoganect provides yoga professionals with great support to promote their yoga mission and yoga practitioners with the opportunity to increase their knowledge, share their passion and deepen their practice. yoganect truly embodies the yogic meaning of union: The union of millions of yoga lovers around the world. The union of professionals and practitioners. The union of an age-old practice with cutting-edge technology of the twenty-first century.
“yoganect is an awesome way to connect with other Yoga teachers out there,” says supporter and Yoga teacher Clarissa Thompson. “A supportive community of like-minded people seeking to make a difference in the world!”
