We tell you more…

Founder Noura Jarrar says “I always knew I wanted to launch a collection based on the idea of vacation and escaping the everyday. My mother, Lina, is a huge source of inspiration for me and really embodies what ANALINA is about: being comfortable in yourself, owning your identity and not being scared to embrace who you are.”

How did ANALINA swimwear come about?

I wanted to create clothing that can express my love for the feeling of freedom one has while on vacation, and make it everlasting. You always remeber an outfit you wore on a special day, and you remember those moments. Just like music or perfume!

What inspired you to take this up?

I love creating, and I love pretty things and I just went for it.

Did you face any challenges?

A lot, I failed and cried many times. Sometimes I forget how long and challenging this journey has been, and its very scary.. the unkown always is. But its so exciting!

What does saving the environment mean to you?

I think its our duty to look after our surroundings, and I am always sad to see how careless humans are with it. Saving is a big word, especially during the times we live in. But I continue to do my best and try to be as eco-friendly as possible.

What are the other eco-friendly initiatives that matter to you?

Ocean and beach clean ups! I have always loved the sea, I watch so many ocean documentaries. I just find it so fascinating! And I love that the Carvico fabric that we use is made out of ocean waste.

How will this brand change people’s outlook towards sustainable practices?

When creating timeless pieces that are of high quality, firstly, they look amazing on the body because they contour your body in all the right ways. Secondly, they will look good for a lifetime! And using sustainable fabric as well as, making it ethically, which means that everyone who works on every piece is paid fairly, is a necessary step in the right direction. I think people will see that automatically as they get a look and feel of the brand.

Do you believe that the fashion industry needs a cleanup by employing sustainable initiatives?

I definately do, but as long as there is demand for fast fashion and the unsustainable practices that come along with it, unfortunately for us, I think it’s here to stay. But again, each one can do the best they can, and follow what they believe in, in hopes of making a change.

Are sustainable products affordable?

Depends on what affordable means to you.. I do think my brand is affordable, given that I have used the best quality of resources, down to the thread (which is made of recycled materials too!). And mainly because you can wear them over and over and really get your moneys worth.

Your tips for an eco-friendly lifestyle…

Minimise using unecessary plastic, like water bottles.

Shop more sustainably, by buying products that you can wear many times, rather than just once or twice.

Switch to eco friendly products when possible, its better for your health and the environment!

What inspired you to take this up?

I love creating, and I love pretty things and I just went for it; and of course my beautiful mother, Lina. My greatest inspiration.

Brands have recognised that younger generations value transparency and sustainability, and are willing to pay a little more for fashionable, quality products where they guarantee that their next clothing purchase prioritizes the planet and its inhabitants.

The debut collection features a trend led zingy colour palette, chic metal hardware and woven detailing which symbolises the bond between all women, ANALINA creates swimwear for everyone with pieces including bikinis, one pieces with cutouts and opulent cover ups. All fabrics are sourced and hand woven in Italy whilst the metal for detailing is from France. The ANALINA signature statement piece is the ring symbol which is based on the popularity of the 90s trend. The woven ring signifies the unbreakable bond between mother and daughter, the true essence of the ANALINA woman brand.
