Although plastic surgery has been around for hundreds of years, lately the demand and interest in our region has grown tenfold. With growing demand, it is imperative to introduce new techniques from time to time which drives the latest trends.
Liposculpture
Liposuction has now advanced to liposculpture, aka the new ‘It’ surgery that everyone is after. This technique quite literally and strategically removes the fat from one area of the body and redistributes it into other areas to form and maintain a healthy body shape. This has been quite in demand treatment in our region and I have had women clients requesting for this surgery as well as men.
Breast Augmentation
Another treatment which was, is and will always be trending is breast augmentation. I don’t believe this will ever fade out and will continue to grow and continue to be in demand.
Mommy Makeover
Another new and rising trend of 2022 is combining all the above treatments and (sometimes even more) to create what we call ‘a mommy makeover’. This is an ultra-customized surgery comprising of multiple smaller procedures resulting in a total rejuvenation. Lastly, social media continues to heavily influence patients as they are now highly aware of their bodies and face as never before. Following this, we get a lot of clients who come in for injectables such as fillers, but request for the next best technique which will give them either a natural look or a very edgy look, influenced from social media.
