Valentine’s Day is around the corner and being the season of love, it’s a great time to learn some holistic ways to look after your own heart. Here are some top health tips from founder of The Chiron Clinic, Dr. Lanalle Dunn.
Improve your diet
You are what you eat, and if you are eating healthy, that’s a fantastic start. Diet can be a contributive factor to so many ailments, so it’s funny how so many ignore this aspect. A great detox program suited to your body type should be the perfect first step.
Check for any hormonal imbalances that are slowing down metabolism
A decrease or an increase of thyroid hormone in the body can lead to weight loss, weight gain, hair fall, increased heart activity and so many other conditions that can cause the wearing out of the body and deteriorating heart health. Look to doing these tests and eliminating the possibility of any hormonal imbalance.
Identify those mental and emotional blockages
Chakral imbalance due to the accumulation of stress energies can lead to high blood pressure, irregular breathing, and anxiety. Not many doctor talks about this. Identifying lifestyle factors and then taking them through holistic healing sessions in a step-by-step manner is a crucial step towards healing.
Begin the healing from within first
With the use of botanical medicine, hydrotherapy, homeopathy, physiotherapy, massage therapy, and more recently, the use of Korean Specific Technique (KST), results have been improved oxygenation, reduced anxiety, lowered stress, and improved heart health.
Chinese medicine for example has helped so many to identify the link between anxiety, weight management, stress, and depression. Using ancient rules to address modern conditions has helped patients look at treatment styles differently.
