On arrival I was welcomed graciously and asked to choose a scent from a range of options. Salt of the Earth products are all mixed by hand and contain all-natural ingredients – all you need to do is choose from the range of signature scents with essential oils. Rosemary Mint was my choice – a fresh summery scent that was mixed into the scrub, a creamy shea butter scrub with a perfect exfoliation of sugar and salt crystals and skin conditioning extracts as well as the mineral infused cream. The cream is a well-appointed, self-indulgent body cream with the healing properties of natural grapeseed oil, rich in vitamins A and E to rebuild collagen and repair damaged skin. Ideal for a relaxing massage and to heal dry, damaged skin. Salt of the Earth mixes their signature scents with natural ingredients like salt, sugar and grapeseed oil making customized concoctions just for you.
I was led into the comfortable treatment room and the therapist started the treatment with a gentle massage before applying the scrub. She applied the scrub in slow gentle strokes, and it felt blissful – quite like an aromatherapy massage, with the added benefit of gently sloughing off skin cells to reveal the glowing, baby-like skin below. This was followed by a warm shower to rinse off the scrub and I realized my skin was fresh and glowing and felt silky smooth all over!
A rich mineral cream was massaged into my skin and left my body feeling supple and soft. The therapist asked me to identify problem areas and she focused on them while giving a gentle massage with the cream. This was one of the most relaxing treatments I’d ever experienced; it all added to the overall feeling, a beautiful room, calming music, the amazing therapist and the ultra-rejuvenating Rosemary Mint scent! I walked out feeling like a new person!
