Goat yoga is the new rage

Lainey Morse of Albany, Oregon brings us the goat yoga technique. The hottest trend sweeping all over the world today, her goat yoga classes have become very popular. Based on the principal of Animal therapy, the technique uses goats for therapy. Research indicates that interaction with therapy animals can temporarily affect the release of various neurotransmitters in the brain. Oxytocin levels (linked with bonding) and dopamine levels (involved in the reward-motivation system) are increased, while cortisol levels (an immunosuppressant associated with stress) are decreased. All of which are very beneficial to the patients.

Goat Yoga offers Yoga Classes with 360-degree views of the Coastal Mountains and the beautiful Willamette Valley – all while adorable, friendly and loving goats wander around and hope to get snuggled by the humans. If the idea of stretching while hanging out with adorable goats appeals to you, then Goat Yoga is definitely for you.
