Why LED?
Light-emitting diode (LED) light therapy has recently gained footing in the selfcare and beauty arena. This therapy is mainly focused on skincare, promoting anti-aging effects and reducing inflammation. The supposed benefits include an increase in the amount of collagen in the skin, which can reduce the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of aging. Other uses of LED light therapy include acne, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, scarring and sun damage.
Red and blue wavelengths, which are easily absorbed by the skin and do not include damaging UV light, are the most frequent frequencies utilized in LED light treatment. The epidermis, which is the top layer of skin, is treated with red light. It is believed that the fibroblast cells that are in charge of producing collagen proteins are activated when infrared light is absorbed by this layer of skin. The skin may appear smoother due to the increase in collagen production, which may lessen the visibility of wrinkles and fine lines. The deeper skin layers’ oil glands are the focus of blue light, on the other hand.

Blue light 415nm – destroys the pigmentation bacteria, clears and calms problem skin conditions.

The procedure, which was combined with an Esthemax gel mask facial, involved cleaning and exfoliating the skin, followed by a divine massage with a cream loaded with collagen by the skilled therapist Edwige, who then utilized steam to open the pores. The Esthemax jelly mask, enhanced with pure algae, active ingredients, and revolutionary electrolyte technology, was then applied. The Hydrojelly hardens after around 15 to 20 minutes of use, forming a vacuum seal that forces all the beneficial components deep into the skin pores. The mask may be removed with little to no residue once it has solidified. The mask feels cool and smells beautiful as soon as it is worn. Extra complete hydration and immediate cooling are provided by the jelly texture.
Organic brown rice protein is used in the mask along with red light to improve elasticity and rejuvenate dull skin. The mask protects the skin for irritation while allowing light waves to pass to the skin during the LED light treatment that lasts from 15 to 30 minutes. The mask is then removed, and the face is massaged with a moisturizer, SPF and eye gel.
Results: The treatment left my skin hydrated, plump, revitalized and glowing.
Contraindications: pregnancy/breastfeeding/ photosensitive eczema/albinism/any photosensitive disorders/any sensitization to light such as light induced headaches/eye disease/any medication that can cause photosensitivity.
