Padosan–Your friendly Neighborhood food delivery

We all have a deeply personal bond with food! As we grow up and move out of home into new territories, we realize the indispensability of authentic home-cooked food at our home away from home.

Padosan, is your friendly neighborhood kitchen that serves you hot and freshly made snacks at the click of a button and is for all those who believe in a hot cup of tea with food, family, and friendship.

People use snacks as a pivot to take a break, boost their mood, seek comfort, and relieve boredom! Padosan makes sure that they have an extensive menu that represents India in all its myriad dishes to satisfy all tastebuds; you have different varieties of momos (steamed stuffed dumplings) from East India, popular street food Chowmein from Calcutta and the roadside frankies and sandwiches from West India! Their mini meals like Chole bhature from North India and one pot meals like curd rice from South India and Kadhi Chawal or Tawa Pulao from the North are just what you need during mealtimes. The samosas, kachoris, aloo paratha and Desi Chinese options leave you spoilt for choice!

We tried out a few options and were impressed with the packaging and portion size! Coming to the food:

The steamed Veg Keema momos in wheat flour were delicious and freshly made! Bundles of delightfulness with a tasty mixed veggie filling. Spiced with garlic, ginger, and other spices making it succulent and leaving you asking for more!

The Frankie (White Flour, Ulta Tawa Ka Paratha, Lucknow Kebab Paratha Franky) was hot and yummy. ‘Ulta tawa’ literally means inverted griddle, so the paratha is made on the inverted griddle to give it a slight curve. It is crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. This is a wonderful twist on the original Lucknow kebab giving it a delicious veggie twist.

Kolkata wali Chowmein – Made by frying boiled chow noodles with mix veggies in oil, chowmein is a borrowing from the Chinese cuisine, with its smokey, spicy flavor that is Kolkatta to the core. This one certainly did not disappoint and was served in a lovely take away box that made it easy to eat while watching Netflix! Ah! That perfect weekend!

Pav Bhaji Hot Rolls – When we talk of street food in India, how can we not mention Pav Bhaji? A world-famous fast-food dish or perhaps the king of the street food from Mumbai, the recipe is an amalgamation of vegetables spiced with a unique blend of spices known as pav bhaji masala and served with soft bread roll aka pav. The padosan version is delicious bhaji served in a hot dog roll that is easy to eat while on the go.

Padosan accepts customization requests to serve food for Jain preference (food without onion & garlic).

The delectable desserts on the menu include Chocolate Corn Momos, Carrot Halwa Momos, Nutella Hot Dog, milkshakes and lots more.

Our verdict: Delicious, freshly made food, served hot and in user-friendly containers and on time! All this at an affordable price. Perfect for your weekend gatherings or Netflix binge watching.

The food here is simply DELIGHTFUL and available at pocket-friendly prices.
